Toms +100 over Harrington
-Think you get a bit of a hangover effect from the British Open here. Toms (minus The Open) has been playing some outstanding golf

"Harrington, shunted out to 33-1 for Bridgestone glory by Totesport yesterday, spent last week parading his Claret Jug amid a whirl of parties, presentations and interviews, from his home club of Stackstown to the government buildings in Dublin, where Ireland's Taoiseach Bertie Ahern paid tribute to Pod's “skill, courage and nerve” at an official reception.
Before jetting to the States, Harrington said: “I'll probably be ready for Akron, although it will be a case of going with the flow. I'm hoping for a honeymoon effect. I won't be out to prove anything.”
There is plenty of course form to study, and few have better Firestone records than American duo David Toms and Davis Love.
Toms has been sixth, ninth and eighth the last three years and his splendid June form(third at St Jude, fifth in US Open, sixth in Travelers Championship) indicates he will be in the mix again this week. He has only shot one really bad round all summer – his Friday 77 at Carnoustie which saw him miss the cut
